  • NearMe

Let’s take a look at the fare, travel time, and pros and cons of each.

Train

There are three ways to travel between Funabashi Station and Narita Airport by train.

  • Walk + Keisei Line
  • JR Sobu Line + JR Narita Line
  • Tobu Noda Line + Keisei Skyliner

JR Sobu Line + JR Narita Line

When using the Sobu Line and Narita Line, it’s convenient to take the “Narita Airport bound” train from Funabashi and the “Zushi bound” train from Narita Airport, as these run through without a transfer. Note that “Narita Airport bound” trains only run about once an hour.

The same applies to “Zushi bound” trains during the day, though they don’t run at all during certain hours.

If there’s no convenient direct train, we recommend getting off once at Chiba Station and transferring there.

That said, Skyliner trains departing from Shin-Kamagaya only run about once an hour.

Since there are no departures during certain hours, it’s a good idea to check the schedule in advance and reserve a seat.
