How to Move Between Terminals at Haneda Airport

1. From Terminal 2 to Terminal 1

You can travel between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 by bus or on foot.

By bus, board the “Domestic Terminal Shuttle Bus” from Bus Stop 9 on the 1st floor of Terminal 2, and you’ll arrive at Terminal 1 in about 3 minutes.

Buses run every 3–5 minutes, but note that they only operate from 5:00 AM to midnight.

On foot, use the underground connecting passage. Go down to B1F and follow the signs for the “Terminal 1 Connecting Passage,” then take the escalator. The passage is 400 meters long and has moving walkways, taking about 4–5 minutes.

2. From Terminal 2 to the International Terminal

You can travel between Terminal 2 and the International Terminal by bus or by train/monorail.

By bus, board the “Domestic Terminal Shuttle Bus” from Bus Stop 9 on the 1st floor of Terminal 2, and you’ll arrive at the International Terminal in about 5 minutes.

Buses run every 3–5 minutes, but note that they only operate from 5:00 AM to midnight.

For train/monorail, only passengers connecting from a domestic to an international flight can get a free “Connecting Passenger Ticket” from the information counter on the 1st floor of Terminal 1. Note that you’ll need to show your passport and flight ticket to receive it. The trip takes about 3 minutes.
