How to Move Between Terminals at Haneda Airport

Haneda Airport has three terminals, each serving different flights. You can move between terminals for free, so if you go to the wrong one, simply transfer.

1. From Terminal 1 to Terminal 2

You can travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 by bus or on foot.

By bus, take the “Inter-Domestic Terminal Bus” from Bus Stop 8 on the 1st floor of Terminal 1, and you’ll arrive at Terminal 2 in about 3 minutes.

It runs every 3–5 minutes, but is only available from 5:00 AM to midnight.

On foot, you use the underground connecting passage. Go down to B1F, follow the signs for the “Terminal 2 Connecting Passage,” and take the escalator further in. It’s about 400 meters long, but there are moving walkways, so it takes about 4–5 minutes.

2. From Terminal 1 to the International Terminal

You can travel from Terminal 1 to the International Terminal by bus, train, or monorail.

By bus, take the “Inter-Domestic Terminal Bus” from Bus Stop 8 on the 1st floor of Terminal 1, and you’ll arrive at the International Terminal in about 5 minutes.

It runs every 3–5 minutes, but is only available from 5:00 AM to midnight.

For train or monorail, only passengers transferring from a domestic flight to an international flight can get a free “transfer ticket” at the information counter on the 1st floor of Terminal 1. Note that you’ll need to show your passport and air ticket to receive it. The journey takes about 3 minutes.

It’s similar to a taxi, but differs in that we come to pick you up and the fare is a flat rate.

This removes the burden of carrying heavy luggage for your trip, and since the fare is fixed, you can use it with peace of mind. It’s also more affordable than a taxi.

5 Benefits of Using NearMe to Get to Haneda Airport

There are five benefits to using NearMe:

  1. Flat-rate fare
  2. Affordable pricing
  3. Pickup from any location you choose
  4. Online payment available

Have you ever had the experience of taking a taxi and finding the fare was higher than expected? With NearMe’s flat rate, you’ll never pay more than expected. Another benefit is that it’s easier to budget for your overall trip.

2. Affordable Pricing

NearMe is cheaper than a taxi. For example, traveling from Shinjuku costs from ¥7,300 by taxi, but from ¥2,980 per person with NearMe.

We also offer considerations for children, such as half-price fares for those under 12 and free rides for children aged 5 and under riding on a parent’s lap, so we encourage families to consider using the service too.
