Traveling by train

First, let’s look at how to travel by train.

There are mainly two ways to do this:

  1. Monorail
  2. Keikyu Line

Traveling by monorail

If you take the monorail, board at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station or Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station.

Take the Tokyo Monorail bound for Hamamatsucho and transfer at Tennozu Isle.

Note that the Airport Rapid service does not stop at Tennozu Isle, so be careful.

The trip to Tennozu Isle takes 20 minutes from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 Station, or 18 minutes from Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Station. Either way, the fare is ¥490.

From Tennozu Isle, take the Rinkai Line toward Ebisu.

The transfer takes about 5 minutes.

The ride itself takes about 12 minutes, and the fare is ¥430.

In total, the trip from Haneda Airport to Ebisu takes about 35 minutes and costs ¥920.

Traveling by Keikyu Line

If you take the Keikyu Line, it departs from the Haneda Airport International Terminal.

From Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station (shared by Terminals 1 and 2), head to Shinagawa.

The trip to Shinagawa takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the train.

The fare is about ¥290.

Once you arrive at Shinagawa, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line.

The ride to Ebisu takes about 11 minutes, and the fare is about ¥157.

Using the Keikyu Line, the trip from Haneda to Ebisu takes about 30 to 40 minutes in total, at a cost of about ¥440.

Traveling by taxi

By taxi, the trip from Haneda Airport to Ebisu takes about 40 minutes.

The distance is about 16km, and the fare is about ¥5,500.

Traveling by bus

By bus, there is a service from Haneda Airport bound for the Westin Hotel that goes to Ebisu.

The Westin Hotel is about a 12-minute walk from Ebisu Station.

To book by phone, call 03-3665-7220 (Reservation Center). Follow the voice prompts and enter the required numbers.

Provide your travel date, departure/arrival stops, number of passengers, luggage, and flight information to complete the booking.

To book through a hotel, tell the staff at the hotel’s limousine bus ticket counter your airport terminal, travel date, departure/arrival time, number of passengers, and amount of luggage.

Request the booking and pay the fare on the spot.

To book via a ticket vending machine, enter your travel date and time, destination, and number of passengers to purchase your ticket.

The booking process is as follows:

  5. Confirm the number of passengers

  7. Enter your personal information
  8. Complete the booking

First, enter your desired departure point. In this case, since we’re traveling from Haneda Airport to Ebisu, select Haneda Airport.

For your destination, enter Ebisu Station. You can specify any location within the service area.

Next, specify your airport departure date, and enter your flight number or desired departure time.

Confirm the number of passengers and review your booking.
