How to Get from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Dome

Here’s a detailed breakdown of how to travel from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Dome.

Keikyu Line + Subway

Since it’s inexpensive and requires only one transfer, the Keikyu Line is the recommended train route. Trains run frequently and aren’t affected by road traffic, so this is also a good choice if you want a predictable arrival time.

Both terminals share the same station: “Haneda Airport Terminal 1/2 Station.”

① Once you arrive at the airport, head to the Keikyu Line platform on B1F.

To Mita Station, it’s 4 stops on the Airport Limited Express or 5 stops on the Limited Express. Board a train heading to one of the following destinations:

  • Narita Airport
  • Inba-Nihon-Idai
  • Keisei-Takasago
  • Aoto
  • Insai-Makinohara

The Keikyu Line connects directly to the Toei Asakusa Line, so you can reach Mita Station without transferring.

Note that Special Express or Local trains may require additional transfers.

② At Mita Station, transfer to the Toei Mita Line and board a train bound for Sugamo/Nishi-Takashimadaira.

③ Once you arrive at Suidobashi Station, head to the Tokyo Dome-bound ticket gate, Exit A5. After exiting via A5, walk toward the side where you can see the Ferris wheel, and you’ll find Tokyo Dome City. Tokyo Dome will come into view within Tokyo Dome City.

Monorail + Train

This route requires two transfers, but if you take the monorail, you can enjoy the cityscape from the window. If you’d also like to enjoy the scenery, give this route a try.

The monorail has a station at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

① From the ticket gate on B1F, board a train bound for Hamamatsucho.

② Once you arrive at Hamamatsucho Station, take the JR Yamanote Line (or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line) to Akihabara Station. Heading toward Tokyo/Ueno, it’s 5 stops, about 11 minutes.

③ At Akihabara Station, transfer to the JR Chuo-Sobu Line. Board a train heading toward Shinjuku/Mitaka, and it’s 2 stops, about 5 minutes, to Suidobashi Station.

④ Exit via the West Exit ticket gate at Suidobashi Station, and you’ll see a pedestrian bridge on your right. Simply follow the pedestrian bridge, and you’ll arrive at Tokyo Dome.
